The Scottsdale Culinary Institute offers degree programs which prepare students for an exciting career in the culinary arts. Emphasizing hands-on education, the school's programs provide graduates not only with a degree, but with experience to quickly progress in their careers.
The school's main campus occupies a building that formerly housed a resort country club on a golf course and lakefront overlooking Camelback Mountain. The campus houses eight kitchens, bakery, and meat shop, equipped with today's industry standard culinary equipment. The facility includes a library and student study center.

Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts
The Institute offers an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. This concentrated program lasts 15 months, and includes an externship lasting 3 months at a restaurant or facility of the student's choice.
The program combines classroom education with hands-on experience at the school's learning kitchens and two restaurants. Classroom learning focuses on management, menu planning, sanitation, and cost control. In the kitchens, students get experience in food preparation, baking, cooking and meal presentation.

Bachelor Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Management
This advanced program is designed to provide an in-depth culinary arts education, along with the management and communications skills needed to operate a food service establishment. Students learn the theory and practical application of topics including international cuisine and buffet catering, along with supervision and management. The program includes a thirteen week hands-on internship.

Associate Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality & Restaurant Management
Combining the Le Cordon Bleu culinary arts program with practical knowledge of restaurant and guest service operations, the Hospitality & Restaurant Management degree prepares the graduate for a wide variety of entry level positions in the food service industry.
Students learn front of the house and back of the house operation, along with communications and human resource management skills.

Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie and Baking Program
Students can choose from a full Associate degree program, or, for individuals who have already earned their degree, a certificate. This program prepares the student for a career in baking and the pastry arts. The program uses classroom instruction to educate the student in the fundamentals of nutrition, sanitation, and food chemistry. In the kitchen, students prepare cookies, cakes, breads, and other pastries. Instruction is also provided in specialties, including icing and chocolate molding.
