The Pennsylvania Culinary Institute was founded in 1986. It combines modern equipment in its learning kitchens with coursework in traditional culinary methods. Le Cordon Bleu Baking and Pastry Arts Program
Prepare for a career as a chef, cook or caterer with the Associate of Specialized Technology degree programs in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts or Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie and Baking, or the Le Cordon Bleu Culiary Techniques diploma program. Students learn from experienced pastry and culinary chefs using the methods of Le Cordon Bleu. The program includes classroom education as well as hands on experience in an authentic restaurant atmosphere in the school's professionally equipped kitchens.

Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality & Restaurant Management
This program offers intense coursework in front of the house and back of the house operations that prepares graduates for management positions in hospitality management. Students get hands-on experience in the skills most in demand by employers.

The Pennsylvania Culinary Institute is located in Pittsburgh. Originally known as the city of steel mills, today's Pittsburgh features a service oriented economy, with an increasingly high-tech flavor.
The school's facilities include commercial kitchens stocked with professional cooking equipment, baking and pastry preparation areas, classrooms, a learning resource center, and a student lounge.
